Our team has been serving our Northern California clients for 17 years. We don’t see a mortgage as just another loan. Gayle & Mike Lynch
From dog grooming and saving people’s lives … to mortgage lending and saving people money
Mike and Gayle Lynch were both born and raised in Northern California; Gayle grew up in Anderson and Mike in Chico. When they married in 1996, Gayle owned a dog grooming business and Mike was working as a first responder, a flight medic, eventually managing the paramedic program at a local hospital.
While Gayle was pregnant with their daughter Mariah, she became interested in mortgage lending. She learned the business from a broker friend of hers, obtained her California Real Estate Broker’s license and opened a mortgage office inside her pet grooming salon. In those early days, she would work on loan files in the bathroom whenever she had a break from dog grooming!
Gayle got Mike interested in the mortgage business as well. Mike had studied finance in college and prior to becoming a paramedic, he had been in sales. Working together in their new business, Mike and Gayle gradually grew the business and they eventually chose to affiliate with AmeriFirst, a national mortgage banking firm with a wide variety of mortgage programs and a culture of encouraging independence in their member branches.
Mike and Gayle have since closed over 2000 home loans for their friends and neighbors in Northern California. As lifelong residents, they not only know the area and the people well; they have become recognized experts in their field after years of taking classes and continuing education in the field of mortgage finance. Mike and Gayle are also Real Estate Investors and have been investing in local Real Estate for over 20 years. They are both National Licensed Mortgage Loan Officers and Mike is a licensed Real Estate Agent and a Certified Instructor for the California Dept of Real Estate. He is a frequent speaker for the real estate and mortgage industry in the area, teaching loan officers and real estate agents how to be the best they can be.
Mike and Gayle have been married for over 23 years. They raised their son and daughter in the community where they’ve lived all their lives. Their son Vance lives and works in Chico and their daughter Mariah attends college in Arizona. Mike has been active in Rotary for more than 10 years. He is a past president of Anderson Rotary, which gives thousands of dollars in scholarships every year, donates to FFA, volunteer fire departments and Food Banks, and other local organizations like little league, soccer, wrestling, etc. Mike also administers and oversees a community service/leadership club at a local high school.
When they’re not serving their clients and community, the Lynches spend most of their time outside with family and friends. They love to mountain and road bike, hike and ride horses, with their dogs on the world-class trails in Redding area. They also, spend time boating on the Whiskeytown and Shasta lake, fly fishing, back country skiing and gardening.
Gayle & Mike Lynch have the knowledge, experience, resources, and dedication to assist everyone from first time homebuyers to seasoned investors — and everyone in between. Their customers appreciate the fact that they take the time to listen and understand a person’s situation. Once they understand your situation, they can always help their clients find a path forward to accomplish their goals.
